FAQ
Who is Nikki Chanté Dillard?
I’m the creator of Swinger’s Ed™, a therapist-in-training, writer, and relationship educator who has lived and learned the hard way through swinging, polyamory, and emotional reclamation. My work centers on real people navigating real experiences with no shame, no judgment, and no apologies.
Do you offer classes or group workshops?
Not yet, but they’re coming. I’m currently building out live and on-demand workshops for swinging newbies, lifestyle communication, consent culture, and relationship repair. Stay on the email list for updates.
What is Swinger’s Ed?
Swinger’s Ed is more than just a book; it’s a movement, a community, and a resource for couples and individuals exploring ethical non-monogamy through a swinging lens. Whether you're brand new to the lifestyle or deeply immersed, this space is for education, healing, laughter, and practical tools for real life.
What makes your approach different?
I don’t hand out formulas. I don’t tell you how your relationship should look. I help you figure out what you actually want and provide you with tools to build it with intention.
My work combines over 25 years of lived experience with therapeutic insight and narrative reflection. I’ve been through the fire and studied the frameworks. This isn’t theory. It’s real life, real emotions, and real tools for people who are tired of guessing.
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to help you build the relationship that fits you—one decision, one truth, and one boundary at a time.
May I schedule a one-on-one session with you?
Yes. I offer limited coaching sessions for individuals and couples seeking support, clarity, or guidance on navigating lifestyle, boundaries, emotional safety, or personal healing. Pricing and availability are listed on the [Work With Me] page.
I’m not sure if I’m ready to swing. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. Swinger’s Ed™ is about exploration and education. You don’t need to be “ready” to have the conversation. This is a space to figure out what you want and why, and make empowered choices from there.
Do you work with couples or just individuals?
Both. Some people come solo to process, unpack, or explore. Others come as couples looking to deepen communication, set boundaries, or prepare for swinging experiences. Either is welcome, but I keep it honest with everyone.
How can I contact you for speaking engagements, podcast interviews, or potential collaborations?
Please email me directly at BookNikki@SwingersEd.com or complete the contact form. For podcast or media appearances, please include your platform, target audience, and the topics you’d like to discuss.
Where can I find your downloads and worksheets?
All downloads are available under the [Free Tools] section. That includes:
Readiness Quiz
Yes/No/Maybe Lists
Consent Conversation Templates
Lifestyle Lexicon Glossary
…and more. These are designed to be ADHD-friendly, inclusive, and immediately useful.
How do I know if this is the right place for me?
If you’re looking for shame-free education, real stories, clear tools, and someone who’s walked the fire and still chooses love, you’re in the right place. This is not a hookup site. This is a resource for individuals who want to engage in swinging effectively.
Is there merch?
Not yet, but it’s coming. I’m working on a limited-run collection of intentional, soft, non-cringey merch that makes you feel seen without shouting. Think: affirming phrases, private jokes, and lifestyle language that only those who know… know. If you want pieces that say, “I’m building my relationship on purpose,” stay tuned. You’ll be the first to know when it drops.
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Great question, and it matters.
I’m a coach and educator with a background in Marriage & Family Therapy (currently in my MFT grad program).
Coaching helps you move forward with tools, insight, and reflection, especially when you're exploring something new, such as learning to swing, navigating communication breakdowns, or adopting lifestyle language.
Therapy dives deeper into mental health, trauma, or diagnoses and must be provided by a licensed clinician in your state.
I do not provide therapy services through Swinger’s Ed™. Coaching is about growth, clarity, and education. Therapy is about clinical care and healing past wounds. If you're unsure which one you need, I’m happy to help you figure that out or refer you to someone who can assist you.
Is this only for swingers?
Absolutely Not.
While this brand was born from my experience in swinging, the tools, stories, and lessons shared here are grounded in universal relationship truths: trust, communication, boundaries, clarity, and choice.
Whether you’re monogamous, poly, exploring, or just tired of pretending everything’s fine, Swinger’s Ed™ is here to help you love better, speak up sooner, and feel more at home in your body and relationship.
Every resource, talk, and session can be tailored to your specific relationship structure. You don’t need to be in the lifestyle to benefit from it.
